The N3XT is a simple app that helps local community to move around the city using public transport. Designed with people going every day from home to work in mind, it remembers the route and quickly answers the most burning question every morning – when does a next bus leave?
Time First
Time left for the next bus to leave is the most important information in the app, that’s why other parts of the UI were built around it.

Even though the New York City Subway System is over 50 years old, it is still the greatest and inspires designers around the world, myself included. Both logo and the whole look and feel of the app were strongly inspired by the timeless work of Massimo Vignelli.
Color palette
Bold color palette of the N3XT was inspired by vehicles and the whole system of Wrocław’s public transportation along with the city’s architecture and sweet memories from the trip to New York City.

The N3XT made its way to the App Store and was available to download for over a year. After this time, due to increasing costs it was taken down.
Even though, it’s no longer available, it taught me a lot about product design, app development and general product management. Most of all, it helped me build a great friendship with Marcin – iOS developer, who is also the man behind the N3XT main concept. Today, we create original apps based on our own ideas as the coco apps.
